Awakening Tip #5: Becoming More Aware

In yoga, we talk a lot about our level of “consciousness”.

For many, that word may be a bit ‘out there’, while others use it everyday.

To me, consciousness is the way I describe one’s level of awareness.

The more aware you are of your thoughts, surroundings, motivations, dreams, and desires, the more “conscious” you are.

The truth is, bringing yourself into greater consciousness is like getting a map for creating the life you desire.

Without knowing how to build it, you cannot experience true freedom and happiness.
