We will visit ancient shrines, temples and have many dips in the sacred Ganges river, visit the inexplicable ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (The Beatles Ashram) and participate in the Sacred Aarti ceremony on the banks of Ma Ganga where we will pray together in community with music, chanting, colors and a heart-opening fire ceremony. Speaking at the Hazelden Betty Ford 75th Anniversary is an honor for many reason for Tommy, the first of which is that this center is where his recovery journey began. As this incredible organization continues to put the emphasis on recovery as much as treatment, Tommy will share his hope and experience with everyone there through yoga practices and teachings throughout the event, a keynote presentation on Sunday morning, and a celebratory tailgate party on Sunday afternoon!

As we help spread the mission of Life Beyond Addicition, Tommy is honored to be presenting at the Multiple Pathways of Recovery Conference with CCAR. Affectionately known as ‘MPRC’, this conference is a gathering of the nation’s leading recovery leaders to share and educate one another about the many different pathways, methods, practices, rituals, programs, and belief systems recoverees can use to enhance their recovery journey and sustain long-term recovery from alcohol and other addictions.
