Join Tommy Rosen and guest teacher, Kia Miller, for a two-week-long Recovery 2.0 Immersion, followed by a week at the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh, India.

Visiting India is a not-to-be-missed life experience, especially for anyone interested in spirituality, yoga, meditation, and the exotic.

WEEK ONE: RECOVERY 2.0 IMMERSION

We will spend the first week at the Sattva Retreat Center in the foothills of the Himalayas practicing yoga, meditating, taking in wisdom talks given by Anand Mehrotra and other master teachers, and visiting sacred sites. We will also have daily Recovery 2.0 meetings, which are made all the more special by the sacred surroundings.  

WEEK TWO: INTERNATIONAL YOGA FESTIVAL

The second week, we will attend the International Yoga Festival at the renowned Parmarth Niketan Ashram. We will live and breathe the ashram life as we attend yoga classes given by world-renowned teachers from across the globe.

Tommy Rosen

Founder of Recovery 2.0

Tommy is an internationally renowned yoga teacher and addiction recovery expert who has spent the last 3 decades immersed in recovery and wellness. He holds advanced certifications in both Kundalini and Hatha Yoga and has 31 years of continuous recovery from addiction.

Tommy’s first book, Recovery 2.0: Move Beyond Addiction and Upgrade Your Life, (Hay House) was published to International acclaim and continues to transform the lives of readers across the globe.

Kia Miller - Guest Teacher

Founder of Radiant Body Yoga

Kia is a devoted and celebrated Yoga teacher who imparts her wonderful passion for life and well-being through her 200- and 300-hour trainings. Kia has extensively studied multiple yogic disciplines, and is steeped in both traditional and modern expressions of yoga. Her classes focus on breath, alignment and the interconnection between mind, body and spirit, allowing students to experience the felt state of yoga and profound transformation.

The Spiritual Journey to India is intended for people who identify as being in recovery from addictive substances or behaviors with at least 1 year of continuous sobriety. All participants commit to avoiding the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other addictive substances during the program.

  • There are no fees for submitting your application.
  • Applications are reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Once your application has been accepted, you will be invited to register and pay for the training.
  • Choose to pay in full or in 4 equal payments with our available payment plan.

No. There is no nicotine in any form allowed on this trip. On this journey, there’s no need for nicotine.

Yes, you will want to have at least begun a practice of yoga. However, the yoga we teach, while challenging to each individual, will be accessible to practitioners at every level.

Absolutely! If you have a partner or friend who is also in recovery or who has supported you in your recovery, please ask them to apply and include your name in their application. Sharing this transformational week with someone close to you is such a gift.

Your accommodations for 7 days at The Sattva Retreat Center and 7 days at Parmarth Niketan Ashram for the Yoga Festival, all of your meals (delicious, organic Indian food), all lectures, yoga, Satsangs (spiritual Q&A), group activities, excursions and VIP access to the International Yoga Festival are included.

Your transportation to and from Sattva Retreat Center (air and ground), additional meals, and incidentals. 

Rishikesh is a little cool in the early mornings and very warm throughout the day.

You will need a valid passport and VISA (US Residents) to travel to India. No vaccines are required for India, however Tetanus, Hep A and Typhoid are recommended.

You will fly into New Delhi, then catch a connecting flight to Dehradun, then Shuttle to Sattva Retreat in Rishikesh. We will guide you through the process.
